Healing Together Beyond Conflict
EMDR 4 PEACE is a non-profit organization dedicated to healing trauma and building enduring resilience within communities deeply affected by the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. We are a unique, co-created community of Israeli and Palestinian mental health professionals-therapists, trainers, consultants, and specialists.
Together, we harness the scientifically proven power of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy to catalyze profound social change and personal recovery.

What is EMDR Therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an integrative, extensively researched psychotherapy method proven highly effective in treating trauma, anxiety, and psychological distress.
When a person experiences a traumatic event, the brain’s natural information processing system can become overwhelmed, leaving the memory "frozen in time" alongside the original sights, sounds, and intense emotions.
EMDR utilizes bilateral stimulation (such as side-to-side eye movements or tapping) to unlock the nervous system, allowing the brain to successfully process the experience, reduce emotional distress, and promote rapid psychological healing.
What We Do ?

Dual National EMDR Training Program
Our flagship program brings together Israeli and Palestinian mental health professionals for joint EMDR training. Participants build skills, trust, and shared commitment to trauma care in communities affected by conflict.
Alumni Growth Program
This program supports graduates as they continue their professional growth in a monthly Zoom-based learning group with an international lecturer. It offers ongoing study, reflection, and peer connection.
Let’s Talk Healing Lectures
Our public lecture series creates an open space for learning and conversation about trauma, healing, and resilience. It helps share knowledge with a wider audience and the community.

Walking Together Mentorship Program
Walking Together is our mentorship program, where experienced therapists support newer clinicians in our training program. This guidance helps emerging professionals grow with confidence and clinical support.
Therapy Support Project for Peace
This project provided short-term therapy support to peace activists during a period of crisis. It offered emotional support to those continuing their important work under pressure.
Healing the Frontlines Initiative
Our new initiative supporting peace organizations and activists working under conflict. The project aims to offer emotional support and trauma-informed care to those on the frontlines of peace-building.
